Buying gifts for your beloved is one the easiest ways to show them how much you care. But more often than not it’s easier said than done. For, buying a gift for your girl is one of the most difficult things on Earth. You are better off doing complex math than figuring out what to get for your girl.
For those of you who are still scratching their heads over what to do, four women give men the full lowdown on how to buy presents for that special little lady.

Payal Gupta, PR professional says it is always helps when you pay attention to what she likes and dislikes. Take down notes on the kinds of movies, foods, music, books, flowers and other things she finds interesting. “Pay special attention to the kind of colours she adores. Picking the wrong colour may send out the wrong signal to your lady,” says Gupta.
“Her personality also plays a big role in deciding a gift for her,” says Tina Singh, finance consultant. “There are women who are brand conscious and others not too much. Try to figure out what brings joy to her life. For some, even a piece junk jewellery works like a charm,” she adds.
IT professional Ritika Bhalla, says, guys must always talk to the people close to his women as they are more likely to know what she would like for a present. “Reach out to her mother, best friend and co-workers to find out where her tastes lie. They have probable gifted her at some point or another and are more in tune with what your girl may want,” she adds.

Once you have zeroed in on the appropriate gift for your girl, go out and get it. Get it neatly wrapped. Only flowers can be come unwrapped. “Women love it when you write a personal note or an ode to go along with the present. It tells her how much effort you put into it,” says Keerti Sharma, a medical researcher.
But what if even after this hard work, she is still not impressed with your gift, then it’s time to think out of the box, says lecturer Anjum Sheikh. “Think cruises, romantic weekend getaways and or custom-made gifts. If you are good with your hands and have an ounce of creativity, make her something special that is unique to the both of you. It could be a shared moment captured on camera or a simple joke. Put it on a paper or frame it. This will be sure to floor her any day,” says Anjum.
